Identifies some of the building blocks of relationships namely, love, trust, commitment and intimacy. These are discussed within the context of the mother/daughter relationship. This chapter suggests that for each woman of the dyad, her own maturation has offered new and added perspectives about her altered behavior, emotions, attitudes and thoughts as well as those of the other woman in the relationship.
